The family estate is composed of about twenty plots, located in the production area of Aigle and under the appellation “Chablais AOC”. A part of the vineyards is located on the hillside of Beauregard, facing the majestic Dents-du-Midi mountains. The other part stretches languidly around the Castle of Aigle.

Since the 1990’s, we have been working according to the reasoned and nature-friendly production method.
To preserve the environment and biodiversity, we leave a natural grass cover in our vineyards.
On the hillside, our terraced vineyards are supported by dry-stone walls, maintained with traditional know-how.
Our efforts also continue in the cellar with a respectful vinification of the raw product, the juice of our grapes. These are harvested entirely by hand, at perfect maturity, to guarantee an irreproachable quality of the wines.
Our wines are finally bottled on the estate and in “light” glass. This one comes from the glass factory of St-Prex (VD) with a great majority of recycled glass.

OUR HISTORY
Five generations have expressed themselves through the vineyard and the wine, preserving the tradition of this domain as it was in the beginning. But tradition also means innovation and development to guarantee the sustainability of the business. Each generation has left its mark on the Emery Cellar in its own way and it is a great legacy that is passed on over time.
2012
Alain is joined by his brother Marc on the estate. Like their elders, they create high quality wines and focus on cellar hospitality and wine tourism. New wines such as “Perle de Soleil” (a blend of semi-sweet whites), “Clos de Beau Regard” (Gamay barrique) or “Dil’Eme” (a selection of Chablais wines) complete the range.
2007
Alain Emery, takes over the management of the estate from his father and his uncle. With 7 years of experience in the viticulture of Geneva, Alain is a winemaker-oenologist who practises his profession with passion.

François and Philippe
1981
Philippe and François, Gustave’s sons, ensure the continuity of the business and bring about renewal. They consolidate direct sales and rationalize the vineyard. Together, they also renovated the cellar while keeping the large wooden vats that had been there for a long time.
Philippe and Micheline will have three daughters. Françoise, Sylvie and Caroline.
François and Françoise will give birth to Alain, Antoinette and Marc.
1956
Gustave Emery, representing the 3rd generation, took over the estate from his father and developed the sale of bottled wine.
With Suzanne he will have 4 children: Philippe, Henriette, Marianne and François.

Gustave Emery-Borloz
1923
Gustave Emery-Borloz, son-in-law of Emile Borloz, took over the reins of the business in 1923. He enlarged the family estate and gave up farming.
Three children will be born from his union with Adèle: Marie-Louise and her twin brother Gustave, then Francine.
1883
Emile Borloz buys the domain and makes wine there. At that time, agriculture and viticulture were part of the farm.
A few years later, his daughter Adèle married Gustave Emery.
